Boo-Hoo, JD Vance: A Lesson in Free Speech and Consequences

The Right is trying to shame people for boo-ing JD Vance; and we've got something to say about that.

Alright, let’s talk about this JD Vance situation because, honestly, the hypocrisy is so thick you could cut it with a butter knife. Apparently, the right is clutching their pearls because Democrats booed JD Vance while he was on vacation with his family. And now, we’re supposed to feel bad? Spare me.

First of all, if you’re JD Vance and you’re looking for a warm reception, maybe don’t vacation in a blue state. What did you think was going to happen? Did you expect Californians to roll out the MAGA-red carpet and say, “Oh, thank you, sir, for your contributions to making our lives harder”? No. You came to a state where people fundamentally disagree with your policies, and you got booed. That’s called free speech, my constitutionally illiterate friends. You know, the thing you all claim to love so much? Yeah, it works both ways.
